  • Go over practice problems from the Subject-Verb Agreement Notes
  • Begin reading Act V

  • Finish reading Act V (the whole play!)
  • Work on Act V Review - due tomorrow
  • Acts IV and V Quiz on Friday!
Wednesday, April 2:
  • Check and go over Act V Review
  • Essay information + packet
    • Rough Draft:  Due Monday, April 14
    • Final Draft:  Due Wednesday, April 16
  • Essay practice:  Finding quality concrete details and citing them properly
Thursday, April 3:

  • Essay practice:  Writing quality, opinionated commentary

  • No School - PLAN testing for 9th and 10th grade students

  • Quiz: Act III (half day today - only 20 minute class periods)
Friday, March 28:
  • Pass back and go over Verb Quiz
  • Finish Act IV
  • Notes: Subject-Verb Agreement with practice.  We will go over the practice problems as well.
  • HW: Act IV Review due on Monday

  • Work on Romeo and Juliet Love Connection Activity - due Wednesday (4th and 5th hours) or Thursday (3rd hour). Work on this until the end of the hour.
  • Fiction Wednesday (4th and 5th hours) or Thursday (3rd hour) this week!
  • Sentence Structure Quiz corrections due Friday
  • Romeo and Juliet Act I Quiz on Friday
Tuesday, March 4:
  • No class today due to ACT/MME testing for Juniors
Wednesday, March 5:
  • Only 4th and 5th hour English 9 students meet today after MME testing for Juniors!
  • Check and go over Love Connection Activity
  • Fiction Wednesday (normally Friday) #3:
    • Read your choice book. Continue to do so even after you finish your reading log.
    • Complete your reading log: write one summary paragraph, one analytic paragraph, and one personal reaction paragraph. Follow the directions on the handout given to you. This is due at the end of the hour.
Thursday, March 6:
  • Only 3rd hour English 9 students meet today after MME testing for Juniors!
  • Check and go over Love Connection Activity
