• Quiz:  Ch. 5-8
• Active/Passive Voice Practice
• Literature Circles
• HW:  Read Ch. 10-11 by Wednesday
• Non-Fiction Friday this week!

Tuesday, May 20:

• Go over Active/Passive Voice Practice
• Reading/Writing Common Assessment - this is the same test you took during the beginning of the school year.  Work on your reading/job for tomorrow if you finish early.

Wednesday, May 21:

• Warm-Up
• Literature Circles
• Things Fall Apart Ch. 9-10 Confusion questions - work on these in groups.  We will discuss them tomorrow.
• HW:  Read Ch. 12 by tomorrow

Thursday, May 22:

• More Active/Passive Voice Practice
• Literature Circles
• Discuss Ch. 9-10 Confusion questions

Friday, May 23:

• Non-Fiction Friday #5:
• Write responses to the questions (listed on the handout) for your article (15 mins)
• Whole-class discussion on a chosen student's article. You must speak at least once in order to receive full credit for the discussion portion of your grade.
• HW:  Read Ch. 13-14 by Tuesday
• Have a great Memorial weekend!
