- Substitute teacher today: Begin research on a project that will be explained in detail on Wednesday. Choose any Greek God or Goddess. Use your Chromebook to find out as much information as you can about your god or goddess. Find: family information, special talents, weaknesses, an interesting story about him/her, and 3 pictures. Keep track of the websites that you used.

- Finish Greek Mythology notes
- Mythology Project info - due Monday, October 27
- Choose a Greek god or goddess (use Monday's activity) and find a creative way, or a mode, to portray him/her. You may create an item that represents him/her (ex: trophy for Nike), a comic strip, poster, social media pager, PowerPoint, or use a speech with props.
- The information that you researched on Monday MUST be on your chosen mode.
- Time in class to continue working on the project/study for your Right Word quiz
Thursday, October 23:
- Quiz: Right Word
- Works Cited page tutorial
- ePark upload page for project tutorial (if yours is electronic)
- Class time to work on the mythology project. By now, you should be mostly done with your research and currently working on the creative mode. You may use your Chromebooks or other materials brought from home today.
Friday, October 24:
- Non-Fiction Friday #3:
- Write responses to the questions (listed on the handout) for your article (15 mins)
- Whole-class discussion on a chosen student's article. You must speak at least once in order to receive full credit for the discussion portion of your grade.
